A marine reserve has recently been established and this reserve is essentially unsupported and remains unknown. Komodo National Park was established in 1980. it had been declared as a person and part Reserve and a World Heritage web site in 1986. KNP includes 3 major islands - Komodo, Rinca and Padar and diverse smaller islands along totaling 41,000 angular distance of land contains 132,000 angular distance of marine waters.
